This is my team:

Amy Leskowski is in the thick of motherhood, with insights on all stages of life and parenting. Taking cues from Dr. Seuss and every genre of songwriting, her rhyming brings levity and depth to the world around her. Amy is a freelance writer, copyeditor, and content strategist. She spent fifteen years coaching university students and organizational leaders and speaking on topics of personal growth, life direction, and leadership. She maintains a blog on humorous motherhood and life perspective.

Amy’s children’s picture book manuscript Traffic Jam has won multiple awards, including a first-place Georgia Peach award, a Writer’s Digest award, and a Florida Tapestry award. Her poem “‘Twas the Night Before Motherhood,” the first in a mom-humor gift book series by the same name, also won a Florida Tapestry award.

Amy is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the KCW Critique Group, Word Weavers International, and has been trained through FCWC, OCWC, and PENCON. Amy has her engineering degree from the University of Michigan, has an editing certificate from the University of Chicago, and has completed ten seminary courses.
